Osaka House Japanese - Madison

If it wasn't for the great customer service and the experience I had with friends, I'd give it a 3. The vegetable rainbow sushi roll was great, and the seaweed salad (although it probably was dyed with green food coloring). The house salad wasn't horrible, but a sign of a place with not environmentally-conscious sourced food. However, they're service and artistry with the food adds a note of appreciation to what they do.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Was a little concerned at curb appeal. Glad we all took the chance. Sushi was amazing sashimi excellent. Service was right on point. Communication was a little though but made it fun. Asked for chef to take photo with us and she was joyed too. Prices were great! Reds was booked as our usual choice. Would definitely go again and intend to!!!

I got full off of my drink waiting for my rolls bc it was so darn hot outside! I cant wait to go again though. This is the Lady Gaga roll and a rainbow roll. I ordered the pink lady roll (no picture but highly recommend) also we got the crab roll (dee-lish) this place made me happy to be in Madison bc it has that downtown charm.

I stopped here on a visit to Madison. Compared to the service I usually get in my home town, the customer service at this place was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the dumplings and miso soup.

The food is amazing here. Even though it's mainly Japanese cuisine they have incorporated American and Chinese cuisine too so everyone is happy. However, they are largely understaffed, usually only having one waitress. So service is incredibly slow and tedious.
