Rocky Rococo - Madison

Kudos to the chef who made the pizza at 7:30 PM on 7-24-13! This was the first time that a pizza has reminded me of the original delicious Rocky's Pizza on Gilman Street. It was hot, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering. Despite intending to only have one piece, we couldn't resist going back for more. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet tender and flavorful on the inside, topped with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. The waiter was exceptional, providing excellent service and making us feel welcome throughout our meal. Hats off to the chef! Can't wait for the next hot and delicious Rocky Roco pizza. We will definitely be returning. The salad bar is always a favorite of mine, with a great selection of fresh ingredients to choose from. Ordering a whole pizza this time was definitely the right choice - it was simply the best.

You know a restaurant is doing well when you arrive close to closing time and no one is rushing you out or eating your food. I don't usually make a habit of arriving late, but I was craving pizza and this place was convenient. I would definitely recommend it! The restaurant is large and spacious, with good views of the TVs for watching football from almost any seat. The mushroom sausage pizza was good, but the Rococo Chicago Super Slice was fantastic - make sure to try that on Thursdays! However, what really stood out was the service. I didn't catch the name of the man who served us, but he was very professional and attentive. I believe he was the manager, and despite working almost alone, he kept the restaurant clean and had a great attitude that made our evening memorable. I will definitely be coming back!
