Stonegait Winery - Madison

Stonegait offers a refreshingly different environment for a winery. Wide open space with polished handmade Amish furniture, heated floors stunning wood burning fireplace welcome you upon arrival. In addition to offering a full bar including beer slushies the wine is spectacular. Our favorites include Chardonnay, Cabernet Reserve, Syrah Petit Syrah. All 5 star Ohio wines. The full menu is an upgrade from the mundane winery offerings of the area. We especially love the meat lovers pizza with extra salami, the BLT with extra crispy bacon the Billy Club with no ham. So good!! The owners are sincere, hands on, friendly welcoming. What a fine experience!

Stopped in to taste a couple of Stonegait’s wines with a appetizers. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the owners were very helpful with information about the different wines. Would visit again.

Would have loved to retry this winery, but the snotty attitude of the help at the counter had us turned off before ordering. Very unfriendly. Hey weren’t very busy or I could understand. Obviously have enough customers!
