Tequila's Mexican Grill - Madison

This is likely the best Mexican food you'll find in Madison. It's decent for Georgia, but if you're expecting authentic border flavors, you might be disappointed. I would classify it more as Tex-Mex; it's definitely Americanized. Coming from Arizona, where we have genuine Mexican cuisine, I'd say this is only about 25% of the way there. However, for anyone who was born and raised in Georgia, this probably qualifies as great Mexican food. I plan to return again and again, as I already have. Still, I think it's time to plan a trip back to Arizona soon to satisfy my craving for authentic flavors. I miss it a lot.

This is a fun and festive place to eat. The food is very authentic and the atmosphere is family oriented. Always crowded but the wait is never too long.

This place is a hidden gem!!!! The food is so good and the atmosphere is cute. I was extremely impressed. The only Mexican I want from now on is this place.

Nice little restaurant. The food was OK but had an overwhelming sweet flavor in most items. Perhaps it was too much all spice or oregano. Service was cordial and prices fair.

The food was tasty, but the service could have been better. The young lady never offered to refill my drink.
