Tx Burger - Madisonville

The food at this restaurant is delicious and served quickly, with a wide selection of Blue Bell Ice Cream flavors. However, the downside is that they provide cheap plastic spoons that are flimsy and don't work well for eating the ice cream.

Absolutely terrible service!! I ordered 3 burgers and fries, a simple order, but was told to pull to lane 1 to wait. I watched as multiple cars behind me received their orders and left while I sat there for over 25 minutes. When I called the store, they said it would be another 15 minutes. By that point, I had already been waiting for 30 minutes! They claimed it was because my order was big and they were busy, but 3 burgers and fries is not a big order. I asked to speak with the manager, who gave me the same excuse. When I requested a discount, she had to check with someone else. Eventually, she returned to tell me that they had lost my order. What?? So they had lied to me about the wait time being due to the size of the order? They insisted they hadn't lied, even though they initially mentioned a "big order." I was then asked to go back through the drive-thru, where they (thankfully) refunded my money and provided me with my food. Throughout this whole ordeal, not one person I spoke to offered an apology or showed any remorse for the mix-up. Very disappointed...

Inexpensive and delicious. The onion rings were the best I've had in a long time, and the blue bell ice cream for dessert was a perfect ending. Overall, a much better choice than the nearby McDonalds. The service was also very friendly.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It serves the best burgers in the state, and some of the best I've ever had. Being spoiled by my upbringing of raising our own beef, I'm always impressed by the quality here. It's a fantastic place that I make sure to visit every time I'm passing through.

The service was very friendly. They offer burgers with Nolan Ryan beef, but I was disappointed by how thin the burger patty was. It must be pricey considering its size.
