Feedback gevenAuthentic, origin and unique place for local cuisines! Founded in 1941 and it still preserves the elements from the past. I love how they decorate their restaurants with all the photos hanging on the walls and the red white table clothes. Great staffs and ya, a very fine dining experience in the heart of Madrid.
Wonderful local meal. Fried chorizo is amazing. Ox tail and tripe are also unique and flavorful. Good experience.
So unwelcoming. Not a smile our entire time there, not a thank you, no you’re welcome or any courtesy. Literally “yes, no, ok” answers. Least friendly service we received in all of Madrid. Food was decent for the prices cod fritters were way more fritter than cod, beef tongue was good. This is extremely basic and simple plating. There’s really nothing distinguishing this place from any other traditional restaurant in town. There’s zero ambiance between the lack of friendly service and no music. Just some photos and bull fighting mementos on the wall. The poor service really dampened the evening for us. Would not recommend it nor return. Check out Botin or LHardy restaurants instead for similar cuisine.
Hoy la experiencia gastronómica no ha sido tan gratificante como el cocido de ayer, aun habiendo comido unos deliciosos callos y una exquisita Merluza de pincho, el precio final ha resultado un poco caro, por no decir bastante, en fin como diría aquel, no todos los días son iguales.
El restaurante Casa Salvador, es un pequeño museo taurino con capacidad para 80 comensales. En el lugar se sirven uno de los mejores rabos de toro preparado con un guiso de zanahorias, guisantes, champiñones y patata cocida y merluza frita rebozada. Ofrece cocina tradicional castiza. Dispone de accesibilidad para discapacitados, estacionamiento, climatización y salones privados.
