Claxon Taberna - Madrid

Just returned from a couple of days in Madrid watching El Classico. Tried several places on the first night and ended up here lucky us. A really welcoming and humorous set of guys behind the bar incredibly generous with complementary drinks and tapas as we ate our way through their menu both nights. The calamari, steak on a hot stone, chicken croquettes on night 1 were superb but the belly pork and cod in potato cream on the second night were different class. Highly recommended give this place a go it might be a bit busy but find a spot along the bar and enjoy the beer, wine and food!

Very cool and trendy atmosphere. We tried the baked pork belly and really enjoyed it!

We found this place randomly with a friend while bar hopping in ponzano. Friendliest staff, cozy vibe, great tapas, and the artichokes are epic. I actually came back for lunch the next day!

Despite the fact I didn't understand what anyone was saying in Spanish. The waiter somehow knew what we needed. I definitely would recommend this place!

I've gone to this place and I'm going to return thousands, excellent treatment, david and nico are some machines, and the turrets as best I've ever tried, 100% Afro-disiacal
