Jarritus Cerveceria - Madrid

This establishment is located down the block from The Plaza de Toros. We came here to eat before we went to the bull fights. Service was outstanding. The manager was very personable. Beer was good and cold and we had huge mugs of San Miquel. Wifey ordered Bacalao fish, and she loved it. I ordered a steak and I was totally disappointed. First I ordered it Medium/Well. When they brought it to me it was practically raw. I sent it back and it came back all cut up and cooked well. The meat was very chewy and had a lot of fat. It was a waste of 26 euros. I had steaks in 3 different places in Spain on this trip and was disappointed with all of them. I'm totally surprised about this. I would think the beef over here would be good...boy was I mistaken. Suddenly, Longhorn Steak House in the States doesn't look too bad. I liked this place...I would go back and order something else.

Very friendly staff, plus delicious Spanish dishes. Also, the waiter speaks good English, easy to communicate with. Clean environment.

Cantidad, calidad y servicio de maravilla. Hasta nos ofrecieron ayuda para escoger un vino más cercano a nuestros gustos. Volveremos seguro.

El menú diario es bueno, aunque un poco caro, con una selección de platos algo limitada pero de excelente calidad. El servicio es perfecto.

El restaurante ofrece una variedad de opciones de comida tradicional española, con un estilo de cervecería de calidad. El servicio de mesa podría ser más amable, pero fue bastante satisfactorio para nuestro grupo de 14 personas (amigos de negocios).
