I've been lucky enough to drink rum all over the world, and I'd easily say that this is one of the best rum bars I've been to. It's not enough to have a great selection, all that takes is money, the best rum bars also have to have the best staff. We were given great information about the rums we were drinking and given good suggestions to fit our tastes. Easy recommendation.

If you want to drink rum you have to visit this bar. It is small and cozy and has rum from all over the world. Their knowledge about rum is excellent and they can advise you to choose the right one. They also offer “rum tasting” sessions (you need to book in advance). During the session you can learn about and taste different rums. Perfect plan for an afternoon! Perfect place for rum lovers. Huge assortment and very helpful and friendly staff. It's also possible to get a nice cocktail. I'll definitily come back!

Found a deservingly highly rated rum cocktail lounge in our neighborhood of Lavapies in south central Madrid. The owner Emiliano has a wonderful wide range knowledge of Rums alcohols; and hand made all my cocktails with a refreshing flavor. He can recommend wonderful single shot rums as well as craft cocktails to your liking. Service is personal, impeccably professional and still neighborhood-friendly. The ambience reminds me of a local tropical surf bar, which invites you with an air of easy comfort and warmth. We even came back for our following second night in Madrid. Overall: service, taste, ambience are all 5 stars. Highly recommend you visit if you’re looking for a delicious place to drink and have good conversations.

I´ve been living in Madrid for 12 years and the RonRonera was a real find in Madrid. A cool and cosy rum bar with over 150 rums from all over the world and fantastic cocktails. This place is a temple to great rums. What really makes this place is the owner Emiliano is a true rum enthusiast and has a thousand and one stories about rum and its unique rich history (almost as unique and diverse as whisky). If you get the chance do the Rum and chocolate tastings do it, you won´t regret it!
