Heat Bolaenderna - Maersta

I have eaten maybe 20 times or more at Heat, mostly at Boländerna easy access to free parking across the street! , a few times at Akademiska very difficult and expensive parking! and never left hungry or otherwise less than fully satisfied. They offer, first, a very broad and well kept salad buffet, second, a choice between 3 5 main dishes though choice is not really the correct word as you are totally free to choose them all and many do! , sometimes also a dessert such as pancakes with jam. Soft drinks including light beer are freely available, as is coffee. Out of the main dishes, one is typically based on fish, one or two on meat, plus one vegetarian option. They are all good examples of Swedish style home cooking. For example, their potato mash is heavenly! Or, if lucky, rimmad oxbringa med rotmos might be on the daily changing menu. Or fisk och skaldjursgryta , or ...! It might be advisable to avoid the most busy time which is around 12 noon, when queues can be a bit disturbing, much better at e.g. 1 pm or later they don 't close until 3 pm at Akademiska and 4 pm at Boländerna , and the room might be rather noisy probably not the right place for a cosy or romantic meal, rather a bit like a high end school eatery. But on the whole, a remarkably reliable place, offering unlimited supply of very competently cooked food! Prices are reasonable, at present 110 SEK per meal, or 100 SEK if you pre pay at least 10 meals stamgästkort .

The best home made kocking efter my mother. A big salad bar, big flavour and me with a big smile. Everything for everyone, good price, good people and good food.

Visit this one a lot, especially on Thursdays when the pancake day is in full swing. Usually super busy but was very quiet today I guess due to the new charge of 100SEK person as it was cheaper before. Food still high quality and plenty of it. Tuck in and be happy.

Right in the middle of a industrial area this restaurant is tucked away. You park on the opposite side iof the road (Media Markt parking lot) and cross Bolandsgatan. There you will find Heat, whicj is a restaurant only open for lunch (9.00 14.00) Mon Fri. They cook all food from scratch and serve usually 6 different courses in a buffe style. The food is excellent if you like home cooked dishes like your mother used to do it. The pancakes on Thursdays are worth killing for. There is a pinch of vanilla suger in them and together with whipped cream and raspberry jam that gets the highest score.

Large traditional Swedish cuisine. easy to eat, but in a great wise. stylized as everything they eat with three to five dressed including desserts. both vegetarian and vegan options and a large salat buffet. they will definitely be satisfied and happy it has not the best ambiente, as it looks like a big kantine, but there are also some quiet places. often have the most beautiful desserts on Fridays, but every day offers good food.
