Feedback gevenMust eat a Torta el qui to if you are in Tehuacan. I am a huge fan of tortas. In Tehuacan there are 2 places where tortas are the best I ever had anywhere ever. This place is one of them. El,Jitomate romántico is the Other). El quinto is a Tradition in Tehuacán, everyone knows him. The little street car is always packed. There is always a line. You will be given a choice between Milanese breaded thin steak) or pavo a little spicy oven roasted turkey). I like both. Then using a telera bread or Torta bread he puts mayo, the meat, lettuce, tomatoes, etc... And the super special touch he finishes it by dipping the bread for just a sec in some of the turkey juices. It is so good.
Delicious tortas (sandwiches)! And the couple that own it are really friendly as well. Try the especialidad, but ask for `sin picante´ if you´re not fond of spicy food.
