Das Sakura in the heart of Magdeburg bietet mainly Sushi and other Japanese dishes. In addition, there are also individual dishes from other East Asian countries. During my first visit, just before the Corona pandemic, I started with three Gyoza. Since it was the first time in a long time that I had found vegetarian Gyoza in a restaurant, I was thrilled from the start; taste-wise absolutely satisfying. I put together my main course from several types of Sushi. The price level is average and the selection is immense. The large portion of ice cream with green tea flavor was of course a must. Maybe Sakura is not the most extraordinary or original restaurant, but it offers everything a sushi lover could wish for. In terms of price, you can't complain, and the service was friendly and fast. As a big fan of Japanese cuisine, I would eat there again at any time.
