Feedback gevenA few people suggested Sandra as a good restaurant in Magliano. We did not agree with the suggestion After being sat in a table along the main street between other patrons and the walking traffic, we to wait for 35 minutes for our appetizers. They were literally thrown on our table by the owner who was too busy chatting with some other people rather than explaining what the four vegetable tartlets were. The other staff was not much more focused and had the habit of forgetting things after two seconds. The food is good but not inventive at all and the prices are too high for the quality of the (forgettable) service.
Wow what an experience and luckily just happened upon it. Food and service were fantastic. I had the wild boar stew with fagioli beans and mixed salad. Unbelievably tasty. The house red wine was excellent as well. My wife had the pasta (tortellini I think) stuffed with spinach and served with a butter and sage sauce. Excellent as well. Nice tiny village well worth seeking out.
Small place with amazing food. Make sure to make a reservation! The Antipasti platter is huge and absolutely amazing, dishes may change we visited twice), the different types of flan were outstanding. Both pasta and meat dishes were delicious and quite large portions. Quick service.
