Vu Resto - Maharagama

This roof strip is underestimated, maybe because it's not in the heart of Colombo. Surprisingly, they offer a happy hour of 7-8pm for cocktails and other drinks. Justice was served on food and taste. The battery fried Calamari is perfect for sharing and so is the nachos. The cocktails were very tasty, but felt like there wasn't enough alcohol in them even below two. The place is less occupied and hotel guests are the main crowd. Good place has drinks with a different look at the Colombo Skyline.

This place is on the 8th floor of the Best Western Hotel. People usually come here for alcohol. And most smoke. Not very family-friendly. I was a softer and had many things to try in the restorer. I recommend her grill chicken it's really good. The prices are little too high and their backerey items like burgers are not so delicious. Maybe they are mainly targeting the amount that comes to alcohol. You have a nice and clean laundry and there is a screen with sports channels. It is a great place for a group of guys to enjoy their evening. Most customers had couples. The staff is friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere there was good, the roof so obviously great view and breeze. The staff was very friendly. Prices are a bit high, but you can't call it absurd or something. Not very full. A bottle of water was 180, a Biriyani was not good. Apart from small problems like this, you will enjoy your time there.

Close to my residence hence been patronising the place frequently. Lovely views of Colombo 5 from the roof top. Super good ambiance. Excellent service but the food quality fluctuates from time to time. Happy hour for booze is a good idea.
