Le Bougainville - Mahebourg

We had chicken curry and grilled chicken, along with a salad reminiscent of Caesar salad. The food was fantastic and had the comforting taste of a homemade meal, just like something your mother would cook.

The fish was cooked exceptionally well. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a family-friendly restaurant.

This beachside restaurant is perfectly acceptable. I've eaten seafood here several times, as well as grilled fish and chicken with chips and salad, and I've always found it satisfactory. The service is friendly and quite quick, even during busy lunch hours.

Great food, awesome service! Though the restaurant is quite modest, staff were really nice, quick and friendly. Took 3 min from we sat to order and less than 20 min from order to serving for octopus salad and gambas with garlic and lemon. Plus 2 really tasty cocktails.

Sister restaurant of Bougainville in Flic en flac suffers from being the only restaurant in town. Everything is not as well done because of this. The addictive amuse bouche of gateau piment is missing. The food does not feel as generous as its sister. It doesn't need to stand out from the opposition and it shows. Having said that it is an impressive menu and it isn't awful just not as good as the other version.
