Was right on top of everything. Didn't even have to ask for anything. He knew what we wanted with out us telling him. Is pretty expensive. The service at this restaurant was very slow and unfriendly. No one greeted me or said hello. The server took my card without saying a word to me.
The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance, the staff is very welcoming, and the food is delicious. I always enjoy the pollo zarapes dish, and occasionally try other items as well - haha!
The service and food at this restaurant were just average. It wouldn't be my top pick for Mexican cuisine. I'd choose to dine at El Toro on Springfield or at the fields instead of coming here.
Seating was prompt and about half of the seating is in booths. The decorations were nicer than average and the noise level was moderate, making it great for conversation. The service was excellent and they offer Coca Cola soda for those who are particular about their drink choices. There were several comments about the chips in other reviews, so I will add that the chips were warm, thin, and tasty. The salsa was average and the thin chips meant more small pieces at the bottom of the basket. The food was decent, with the lower-end burrito enchilada chalupa combo being okay and the mid-level pollo zerape having a good amount of chicken. We did not try the $16 entrees, but we suspect they are good. Overall, this is a solid restaurant with a 3+ star rating as I couldn't find anything to elevate it to a 4-star rating.
