Unfortunately, the flavors were lacking in this restaurant. It needed a bit of cayenne, citrus, salt, pepper, more mayo (or a hint of Dijon, or even some lobster paste). There was only a small amount of lobster meat (1/2 cup in a full bun) for $15, and the bun was dry. There were no chips or napkins included. On the positive side, the lobster meat was fresh. Overall, it's a great concept but could use some improvements.
I was initially hesitant to try seafood from a food truck, but my hunger and time constraints led me to give it a go. I'm so glad we did! The food truck was located outside the local craft brewery when we first tried it, and we later found it parked on the edge of town on another occasion. We had lobster rolls on both visits, and they were fantastic. The rolls featured fresh bread, fresh lobster, and a variety of delicious flavored mayonnaise options. The truck and food preparation area were clean and inviting, unlike some other food trucks I've seen. If you come across this truck in town, don't hesitate to stop for an incredible lobster roll experience.
My husband, 10 year old daughter and I went to the Fresh Air Festival in Bridgewater and each sampled Lobster Jo's. We had the plain mayo on a hot dog bun. My daughter is particular about her food and she ate the whole roll which tells me she loved it. There was plenty of fresh lobster, the bun even though a hot bun was fresh and the service from all staff was awesome! Very friendly and very fast! Three thumbs up from us!
Yet another charming street filled with cute cafes and theaters, we stopped in for breakfast after the Hillsong church service at the Bobino theater.
