Rita's - Mahwah

They've been coming here for a decade and it's never disappointing. It is always great to watch the train next to the shop as it flies past warm summer nights. I wish they had one closer to me in Rhode Island!

Great staff, clean furnishings with an entertaining and friendly atmosphere, and a great place to grab some ice or Italian ice cream (or both! Year by year. Much and much taste of Italian ice cream and custard until it is difficult to choose. There are many possibilities for those who have food restrictions, such as lactose intolerance, low sugar diets and those who can only eat Kosher food.

Rita is the best in Mahwah! Customer service beyond comparison. It's the cleanest run ice cream shop I've ever done. I always run with a smile about the staff and the leaks!

So good! Love the wild black cherry ice but also the creamy smooth coffee custard topped with hot fudge! Everyone is so nice and accomodating too! Great ice cream place!
