This cafe cum restaurant feels more like a sports bar than an eatery, however we found the food to be delicious and the portions huge. Service was friendly and with a little French exchanged for a little English we got by pretty easily. I ordered the hamburger which was cooked to perfection (pink in the middle) and my partner ordered the duck. Both came with a lovely side salad and frites. My only small gripe is that I ordered the main drink option and was still charged for the drink; I wasn't too bothered by this and didn't pursue it although I'm sure they would happily have corrected their mistake if asked!
Love the terrasse...the friendly staff..the good food..good value. Maillane is quiet and charming and off the beaten path..while staying in St-Rémy we ate here twice..hop skip and a jump away. Wonderful. Tiramisu and crème brûlée hors pair.
Thank you for serving my kids and us a well-cooked dinner. Entree, Main Dishes, and Deserts were properly cooked and served. Most importantly, my kids were taken care of, and that's all I aspire to!
