We had heard of Furiwa from our friends who had booked them for their wedding and so looked into them as well. We loved the dish options that they offered. Also, Vivian was so great to work with during the planning process; very friendly, professional, and responsive to emails! The tasting event that they hosted helped us to really fine tune our menu. They also allowed our planner to come with us to the tasting to help us out, which was a bonus! The hors d'oeuvres, the courses, the late night congee bar on the day of our wedding were so so good and everything we could have wished for. Our parents loved the food as well, even had some of the leftovers the next day and still thought it was delicious. All of our guests also raved about the food and were so full by the end of it, which is a win in our book! We're so glad we went with Furiwa for our wedding day!
We had our Chinese New Year feast last night with take out from Furiwa. Excellent. They did forget our 2 egg custard desserts but oh well. We did order a lot. Will be patronizing them again. Will just make sure to check our order before we leave.
I recently tried Furiwa catering for our wedding tasting, and while the food was decent, I have to say that I wasn't blown away by it. I thought that the price of the food was a bit high given the quality, but that being said, there were definitely some highlights. One dish that really stood out to me was the golden shrimp/chicken. I had never had anything quite like it before, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were well-balanced and the texture was just right. If you try Furiwa catering, I would definitely recommend giving this dish a try. That being said, I did find that the portion sizes were a bit smaller than I was expecting, especially given the price point. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're planning an event and need to make sure that your guests are well-fed.All in all, I would say that Furiwa catering is worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a caterer. While the food wasn't the best I've ever had, there were definitely some standout dishes that made it a worthwhile experience. Just be aware that the portion sizes are on the smaller side and the prices may be a bit steep for what you get.
Amazing quality food! Able to place a quick order online only, they won't take orders over the phone but it's very quick and easy to navigate the site.Ordered a few items for about 8 people and was done in about 30 minutes.Prices are a little on the expensive side but everything has always been delicious!Definitely recommend the walnut shrimp! It was so crispy!
All the guests raved about the food! Victoria provided insanely good service compared to other vendors we had. Super fast communication and always flexible. You get what you pay for with Furiwa.
