I am still very pleased to be able to enjoy real Turkish food in the neighborhood. However, during our last visit the dishes were more solid than excellent. All our Turkish dishes were a bit faded and labbrig. I hope that was just a single ripper and no sign that the Turkish (and very sympathetic) owners between the one-size pork and burgers forget their culinary homeland. Because that's what they really need and could do.

Who would have thought that you can eat so delicious in this (in the meantime a little padded) corner bar with a cigarette machine (although no-smoking restaurant) and a slot machine? In addition to carving and the usual suspects of German Turkish cuisine such as Döner and Lahmacun, there are some authentic Turkish dishes on the map. And they have it in themselves! Made fresh and tasty by mothers (or as the Turk would say: from anne) with love, you can choose the first bite in the warm South. No matter what we tried everything, it was very good. The Alt Bretzenheim also delivers home. But despite the more rustic charm of the institution, I recommend a visit on site: only in this way can the food be combined with a small chat with the very warm and sympathetic operators. It would be nice if more genuine Turkish dishes would appear on the map in the future.
