My husband said the beer was good, my friend said the same, I had a coffee and that was also good. Didn't have any food so can't comment on that. The staff were friendly but not overly quick.

We went here again for lunch and this time we went for the Schweibraten and a Schnitzel. The food was good again, proces are moderate, which means very good so the value for money. Staff is friendly, so again, a recommendable restaurant.

This cafe is Bavarian to its roots! Great outdoor area for drinking your beer and having a fresh, hot pretzel or some genuine Bavarian dishes at a very reasonable price.

For Germany very decent service and accommodating on the food order. Customer seems to be valued. Price average, food is good. If you order a salat, which was good, order the dressing on the side. Most german restaurants, just drown the lettuce/salat in their dressing. Location is excellent, in downtown Mainz, close to the market area and the Dom.
