I there to have a drink and cake, they had two different vegan cakes. They had only recently opened after the long COVID-19 break, so some things were a bit slow. But the staff was very nice and apolgized for this. The cake was very good. I like the mixture of traditional regional and German food (Spundekäs, continental breakfast) and more international dishes like shakshuka and chili con carne.

The mainzer neustadt surprises me again and again. this former apotheke became a bar/café undesigned. that was really good. very friendly service. there is also an outside area. next to breakfast and cake, there are also snacks to eat.

During our visit my friend and I shared one of the huge brownies, unfortunately this was served cold and not warm, but we did not ask for it either. the coffee tasted well and I even got a lactose-free. the kakao of my friend was also ok.

Very cool location in the new city. enrichment for the women's loft. not a huge selection of foods, but that's exactly what I find good, because what they're doing is damn good for it. also suitable for drinking. many gins to choose from.
