Ricky's All Day Grill Ladner

You need to know what to order, there is a lot of horribly executed dishes (and by that, I mean they've 1000% come from a bag, frozen)...but there are also some really nice options. The chicken and waffles, for one.

The Ladner Ricky's finally got a major renovation done. It looks much more modern inside and while the food still isn't all that great when you've for a hangover there isn't much better for it than a greasy breakfast.

Service was absolutely horrible, foods good but I can’t believe how bad the service was….

Placed an order online just after 11am using their in-house mobi platform and was given options for ready-by time. Picked 12:05pm. Arrived on time. Server told me kitchen was packing up my order. Order did not arrive in my hands until 12:20. Probably because I didn 't tip? It was a takeout order so I didn 't want to tip on an order that consists of a very basic cauliflower rice salad that they charge for $19. Grossly overpriced and under-delivered.

Went here on a whim as per a visit from overseas. It was a fabulous experience, we had a great waitress (Ashley) who helped us ensure we had a great time. There were some lights bothering us but they were dimmed to accommodate the needs of myself and others at my table.The food came out a little slower than I expected for how many others were around, but the taste, and portions, did not disappoint. I had a Chicken Parmigiana on top of a linguine pasta and it was delightful. Others at my table ordered a French Onion Soup and a sausage sample platter she found the Sausages to be a great choice and couldn't stop eating them. One other person needed her meal modified for dietary requirements, and the chefs accommodated them accordingly.TV screens dotted around the diner showed the Ice Hockey and Australian Open sports. The broadcasting was good although TVs are a little small or distant, depending on where you are seated.The general atmosphere was quiet and it allowed for us to enjoy our meal without needing to talk over other people.Parking: Plenty of parking near and around the diner. Same parking lot offers access to a number of other shops (Starbucks, Subway, Fresh Co., London Drugs, etc).
