Ati Raja is a famous meatball restaurant in Makassar city. As they receive so much love from customers both locally and outside of Makassar, Ati Raja also offers the frozen meat ball as a souvenir to bring home. You also have many sockets in this city. This one I visited was in Gunung Merapi street, which has a large square with street parking out there. Musholla is also available. In this outlet they also sell some snacks and syrup as a typical souvenir of Makassar. In addition to meatball, Ati Raja also offers the other menu. There are fried rice, noodles, kwetiaw, bihun, soto Banjar, otak-otak and many more. I tried Bakso Ati Raja (IDR 30,000). A bowl with plenty of soft beef meatballs, beef meatballs, Nyuknyang in a clear broth with green onions. Serve it with lime and if you like sharp, do not forget to add it! You could eat them with rice or buras. I chose Buras (cratt cake).
I love this Jalangkote. Bakso ati raja taste good, but it's not the best bakso I've ever eaten. Maybe I'll come back to try another menu
Makassar foods are available. Meat Balls are favourites. Pisang ijo for the dessert, sweet and nice. They sell also frozen foods like bakso (meat ball), jalangkote, otak-otak, and other Makassar's food if you want to take them as gift for friends or family.
The meatball soup is great... They serve it in a hot soup. Fried meatball is also tasty. The wrapped rice (kind if lontong) is also tasty.
