Giving one star because of the shaksuka (google it, it looks delicious!!!), But what i got was a two egg omelette with some chopped onions and tomatoes. A 4 year can cook it!!!
Ordered delivery from here via Foodpanda since i was laid up with a cold and was lazy to venture out. Good to order from Mandy House via delivery since i once tried to find this place on foot and just couldn't! We got Shakshuka- the middle eastern breakfast of poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce - that i love. Mandy House's version of this was a little different from the others i've had in Manila since their eggs are scrambled with the tomato sauce. Tasted good! Next we had Kebdah - an Arabian dish of liver fried in olive oil with cumin and onions and a few other spices. Tasted just ok and was somewhat oily. Mandy Lamb was a dsh for sharing - tender lamb with a generous serving of tasty biryani rice. This was very good!
Since my friend already wrote about our experience here, I won't put so much detail into the food but instead will add to her review: Mandy's House is a narrow restaurant that is very easy to miss, in fact, I pass right by it everytime my cab driver feels it is faster to pass through the busy streets of the red light district than to wait in Makati Avenue. For easy reference, it is a street away from El Chupacabra and yes, like El Chupacabra, there is almost 0% chance you're going to get to park near the restaurant. Before going to the restaurant, I was expecting to see the usual kebab and shawarma. I was wrong, their menu got me really confused but thankfully my friend was pretty knowledgeable in middle eastern food. We had Hummus, Tabbouleh and Biryani Lamb, and yes, if you add everything together, it sort of becomes a disassembled shawarma. The Lamb Biryani comes with a generous serving of rice and the meat is very tender. The staff are kind and well mannered, no complaints here! I will definitely consider going back to Mandy's House, probably more so if it wasn't so hard to park. Give it a shot if you're feeling like you need something new.

Very good food, servings big enough for two. Reasonable cost given the size. We had the biryani lamb, hummus with meat, and tabbouleh. Biryani was vey flavorful with huge chunks of lamb. Hummus was also very gold, best hummus I've had in Metro Manila. Tabbouleh was also the best I've had in Metro Manila; was nicely tart! The place itself is an ordinary restaurant, nothing fancy. Airconditioned. The waitress was attentive and very nice as well, helpful in her recommendations and friendly. Would definitely come back here. It's a good alternative if ever El Chupacabra is very full, as is often the case.
