One Bora Place - Makati

Great atmosphere, loved the live band but the service wasn't very good, would of stayed a lot longer if we could get a drink. The band played requests which was great and the male singer was awesome.

The concept of this bar is to bring Boracay in the heart of Makati with its beach-like decorations, wooden seats & tables, and the waitresses wearing sarong. It's a good place to chill with band music and a few drinks while your feet are on the sand (yes, they placed real sand on the floor). However, I'd say that it's just an average bar. There are a lot of bars in Makati and this is just a typical one. We recently went here for cocktails. I suggest long island and frozen lemon margarita if you want alchohol but not worrying about hangover the next day. Their shot of Baileys is too little so I'd say skip it. The passion fruit shake is sweet and it's surprisingly a good alternative to alcoholic drinks. Their nachos has huge serving. It's not that salty compared to other nachos I've tasted.

Good place to hang out in and just chill. Beer is affordable, while cocktail drinks and food are a tad bit overpriced for a restaurant that does not accept credit cards.
