A part of the hunnanese restaurant trinity of poblacion (including chiang xiang and onkel mao). the offers here are quite identical to the others. here is their specificity the dry pot frog. I ordered the cut pork bell with preserved vegetables. as a fan of seasoning, I asked them to add red chili paprika above the teller. for the php there were about thick discs of fat pork, which sat on a thin bed of soy sauce-soaked leafy vegetables. the heat did not come well with the court, as they can take in pieces more than they can.Dining a full meal here (to get a real Hunnanese life experience) it will take at least php, which should be good for people. no service fee here, and you will receive a free appetizer of fried sorghum.
Good food and clean hotel! Not so much for the waiter, but the food here is definitely fantastic. Tried this wild fish in hot oil, delicious! Also tried pork intestines in hotpot, cumin, century egg in chili oil, pork ear, all are amazingly authentic Hunan cuisine. The husband confirms this as he is often on the mainland for foodie adventures;)
Excellent Hunan cuisine. I was absolutely surprised. The staff is not helpful in explaining the dishes but other than that the food was superb. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good for 4 people. This restaurant is on the 3rd floor of a building in Poblacion - but you can't confuse it. BEST JUICY KINGDOM SPICY FROM HUNAN. Bad English for sure, but absolutely authentic and good food! Order the fried pork with chili, mapo tofu, yangchow rice and pork soup! I come back to this place :)
