St. Marc Cafe - Makati

Did I like it? YAS! My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this resto for quite some time but only got to try it now. We had the Mango Fantasy and Iced Cafe Mocha and we LOVED it. My only concern was that the Mango Fantasy became too sweet as I ate it and I'm not really a fan of extremely sweet food but the cereals were a nice touch and made it enjoyable to eat. The iced mocha has a fair amount of serving considering its price.  As for the place, it's a bit narrow and crowded especially during peak hours but we still had a great time nonetheless.  Is it affordable? It's  a bit pricey. For 2 items we paid almost 500 pesos and that's only a drink and a dessert. Will I come back? YESSSS. We read a lot of positive reviews about their Carbonara so we'll definitely be back to try it! <3

My usual orders at this place are the egg salsa and the chococro. Both are good. Hope I can try one of their desserts next time. This is a good place to hang out with friends. My art friends and I meet here regularly. They have good enough dishes for lunch and desserts.

More than just pastries ... St. Marc's is known for its chococro and offers a variety of dishes including sundaes, pastries, pastas and even burgers. They also have some great drinks that I've enjoyed before ... the only thing is that I don't appreciate when the store doesn't offer soy or low fat milk options; as is the case with St. Marc. Sorry ... I am lactose intolerant so my tummy is not very happy with the lack of options. Tired of meeting, I decided to have lunch at this cafe. I finally decided to try their Menchi Katsu Burger ... I drank my Matcha Latte while waiting for the staff to prepare the burger. It was quite a long wait but I didn't mind. I risked the Matcha Latte because I was longing for something hot because of the rainy weather ... My stomach wasn't so happy after that. I took the burger from the counter (with my tuna potato danish that I had wrapped to take away). It's a good size burger with a decent amount of fries - suitable for a rather hungry person. I thought the burger was okay, I wish the patty had more flavor. There was a lack of seasoning but I liked the crunch. The sauce in between kept it from getting too dry. My bad one, but it didn't work with the Matcha Latte, ooops! ???? Fries lacked the seasoning too, but the ketchup helped a lot. Self service but wish they had cleaned the tables more thoroughly ... some of the tables were a little sticky ... P.S. I haven't tried my Danish yet! Ordering for the first time.

Our first St. Marc's experience was Christmas 2016. We took the train from Osaka to Kyoto and starving for breakfast, found St. Marc Cafe somewhere near Nishiki market . Loved their choco croissant then. Love it now at its local branch in Greenbelt. What Pigoutsundays ordered and loved: Mango Fantasy P250 : The ice cream was creamy and satin smooth and went well with the sweetness of the mango and jelly ???????????????????? Choco banana Fuji P230: The puff pastry stood out for me. It held its chewiness even as it was smothered by a scoop of what looked like soft serve vanilla ice cream .The sweet banana rounded it all up into one delicious dessert ????????????????????
