Sugi - Makati

We had late lunch here. Service is good however we were forced to vacate at 3pm which we find very disrespectful. They could have asked nicely and not make those irritating faces as if we owe them something.

We ate here last night. Staff are attentive. Salmon sashimi is fresh. Prices are quite high as compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area (e.g. sashimi at 450, other restaurants 300-350 and for me it tastes better). Miso soup tastes like the miso soup in Tsukiji market in Japan ???? Ambiance feels "authentic Japanese" experience though the chairs are not that comfortable.

Great food and wonderful staff. Never a bad experience every time I go here! Consistent in both service of the staff and quality of food. Would recommend to all!

They always have good quality fish and the service is great. When Im not in the mood for sushi, my favorite is Kaki Gyuniku Steak. Beef + Bacon + Oysters in sauce. A+

Had lunch here earlier with the hubby's future inaanak sa kasal. The last time we ate here was eons ago but I still remember their good sushi. Beef tenderloin teppanyaki : mine was a little chewy but juicy Mini Agedashi : fried tofu in sweetish soy - simple and good Spicy Tuna Salad: I love this. I can eat this the whole day. Tuna tasted fresh and the wasabi dressing is on point Tempura and tempura sauce : Good. Not too thick batter. Sushi : forgot their names but it doesnt matter. Sugi's sushi are still yum!
