Feedback gevenHad lunch here with my staff and a business partner. Parking is a bit of a problem at this side of Terry's. We ordered the seafood paella, seafood curry symphony and cocido madrileno. The paella was great, even if a little bit thin serving. The cocido is also good. You can taste the 3 kinds of chorizos they used plus is loaded with tender pork and chicken. Great value and highly recommended! My rating for Terry's is as follows" Ambiance 4/5 Service 4.5/5 Value for Money 4.5/5 Will definitely recommend Terry's.
We went here with our team for lunch. The place is intimate, cozy and suitable for discussion. I ordered the pumpkin soup, paella (tastes really good), the catch of the day (tastes amazing) and the picatostes (a different take on your regular churros). Service was a little slow although there weren't many guests at the time. Quite expensive but the food is great. Perfect for casual business meetings.
Whenever I long for something Spanish (or our office wants something Spanish) or just want a romantic evening or a girls' night filled with sangria, Terry's Bistro is one of the few places we visit. I started with a glass of sangria that lasted until dessert, followed by her starter. I would recommend getting the European cheese and cold platter or croquettes first. You can add some angel's nest noodles As for the main course, I would recommend trying anything with Iberico ham (yes, I'm serious). It's a good pairing with their sangria. Of course, don't forget their famous black paella. It was just the two of us who ate it and we were able to finish it quickly (considering how hungry we were back then) We didn't order a dessert last time, but we got a dessert for free because of an app. We could try their Leche Flan. Boy, it was so good it melted in our mouths.
Terrys had excellent customer service. They make you feel at home and are well looked after. However, I have to say the food was not on par. For one thing, the noodles they served looked damp. It consisted of cream, salmon and bacon, supposedly high quality ingredients, but the spaghetti wasn't al dente! I cry. However, the prawns were commendable for juicy prawns, as was the lemonade, which was really freshly squeezed. I would recommend Terrys for its quiet ambiance, perfect for meetings and slow food, very Spanish indeed!
January 22, 2016 || #1036 || A place for a nice date, but Terry's is a place for any day. Terry's Bistro Salcedo is a 3-storey restaurant serving delicious dishes from Spain. During afternoons it's an ideal venue for intimate business meetings, as the 3rd floor is quiet and sound dampened to keep the conversation amongst the table. "San Jacobo" De Lomo Iberico La Crema Del Cesar (525 PHP) imagine a Katsu, its familiar deep-fried golden brown appearance doesn't look all that special, but the creamy filling and tender meat make up for that. Chuletillas de Cordero (575 PHP) Lamb cutlets on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and drizzled with Ribera de Duero wine reduction. It's Mini-lamb chops, 3 pieces of meaty lamb that's best eaten on its own and followed by the mashed potato mixed with the wine sauce. Recommended to pair with a starter as its serving size won't suffice, as with most their main dishes, an exception for their heavy-weigth steaks and shareable stews. Astriana (330 PHP) Basically a cheese omelette with a pancake like appearance from the pan it was cooked in. The Cabrales cheese béchamel is strong, but not overly so that it's unbearable, just enough to burst with strength. It's always something we look forward to when dining at Terry's. eater.ph
