The peanut sauce on the grilled chicken reminds me of chicken satay, so I partner this with the Asian Noodles and Japanese Rice cause I think the Asian flavors complement each other so well.<br/ <br/ Also, I’m happy that I get to relive these flavors at a quick service restaurant and not just at actual Thai or Asian sit down restaurants.<br/ <br/ A down point for the place is that the staff kept shouting instructions at each other and of course, all that grabs the attention of the diners and destroys any chance for a peaceful and happy dining atmosphere. Hope they can have an intercom/earpiece/mic so they can stop doing that.
World of Chicken is always there to feed hungry chicken lovers. Their grilled chicken is always served hot and tender, never dry. And goes perfectly with any of their sauces. My favorite is the Jamaican jerk with spicy bbq sauce. <br/ <br/ Even their side dishes, even if you load up on carbs (bacon rice or mashed potatoes with any pasta), the serving is just enough to fill you up, but never too much to make you feel bloated. <br/ <br/ I also love how homey the ambiance in this branch is. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with friends before a movie date.
Will always be my favorite place for chicken-plus-one-or-two.<br/ <br/ I have been in this restaurant multiple times because of its affordable chicken set meals. You will choose your kind of chicken and side dish. There are a lot of choices for side dish; it could be pasta, salads, rice, bread or dessert. I will never get over with my pesto, original chicken with gravy combo. Also, a chowder soup. The taste is still the best and I always go here for a good meal.
So happy they finally renovated the place! We now dine in here more often. Their food combos are value for money. I always get original chicken with farm fresh mushroom sauce, beef mushroom rice, and asian noodles. Delicious and come in generous serving.
Greenbelt branch used to have the same set up as a food court where you fall in line and order from the counter. Recently though, they covered up the counter area and asks you to sit, give you a menu and a server will approach you for your orders... more of the typical restaurant setting.<br/ <br/ We ordered their 2 sides set. They also offer soups as sides here. Chicken is juicy as usual. Happy with my fave sauce (mushroom corn) and Tuna Fettuccine tandem. Their Chowder was a bit so-so. I was expecting potatoes and a thick base but the ones they serve was a bit watery with veggie bits. Not the definition of chowder in my mind . But taste is still ok so we'll still be back.
