Very tasty eating, great portions, very friendly staff, it would definitely recommend
Eating is good, not unbelievable, but they get what they pay. I had early rolls a mushroom and tofu court and both were really nice. not super healthy, but good!
I was staying almost next door so I thought I would check it out. I would not return. Ordered a simple noodle dish which was so heavy on the oil it was almost sickening. Also, I asked about the ingredients in the mock meat and the server insisted that they are all soy and wheat gluten based. I asked specifically if there was any egg or other ingredients and he said no. But, he would not show me the package as he claimed he threw it out which seems questionable. There are definitely better options nearby.
This place had pretty good reviews on Google, so despite the mediocre one here (and my first two choices being closed) I gave it a shot. Sadly, 100% same opinion; nice comfortable space, subpar food. The dishes are indeed mostly standard fare at premium prices (10-12 for smalls of all items save for rice and noodle dishes). I asked if they had a dry noodle dish with lots of vegetables, no egg, and if they could use less oil, and after the waitress had to change her initial recommendation of a kind of chow mien when the kitchen told her it couldn't be made without egg, I was given the Hokkien mee, which as you can see had nearly no vegetables and was so oily it shone and my lips were slick. It also did not taste like anything at all. The saving grace was that they had brown rice for 1.50. I'm starting to see a pattern of fried rice and noodle dishes at Chinese Malaysian veg places being generally bad, so maybe the other items are better, but with a similar cheaper place down the street it's hard to warrant a second visit.
