Great day trip to a tradicional Spanish village in Sierra de las Nieves mountain range great variety of bar restaurant and great views

We used to live in this beautiful village high in the mountains back in 1998 and this was our first time back in many years. Antonio and his staff greeted us like long lost brothers and we had the best lunch anyone could ever have in and around this area. The views form the terrace are stunning and the service was brilliant as usual, it has not changed .

Excellent family run bar restaurant with the best view of this beautiful village. Food is typical Andalucian fare service is great and whether indoors in winter or on the terrace in summer this place is the beating heart of CASARABONELA. Maria and her husband and sons are front of house artists whilst the kitchen staff consistently produce high quality good food.

My second visit here and love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's location is amazing next to the square (tiny)with a very pretty town hall. We had tapas of various kinds and it was all delicious, including the prawns and aubergines with honey. Antonio is a charming and friendly man too who adds to the atmosphere.
