La Botica De La Cerveza - Málaga

Brilliant craft beer boutique. Excellent beer-cafe with huge selection of beers and nice snacks/tapa to accompany. Great vibe for grabbing a cooling refreshment when in the heat of Malaga. We had a Shaka IPA and Lindeman’s peach beer- yum yum!

A small-sized beer shop with drink-in options, five taps to choose from. There is a servery to the left, a few tables and chairs to the right when entering the place. I came here for Spanish micros and got what I wanted. A well- stocked canned and bottled menu, mostly Spanish but also a fair share of Belgian beers. For us being Norwegians, it was fun to see an Amundsen beer (Norwegian brewery from Oslo) among the taps. Helpful service with recommendations of interesting new Spanish brews. Central location close to Plaza de la Merced. Unfortunately, this was my only visit to a beer related place in Malaga. Because of the COVID-19 we were evacuated from Spain a few days later. Hope to return sometime. (Visited 10.03.2020).

Visited one quiet afternoon. Local beers on tap and extensive bottle and can selection. Bar man had knowledge to suggest beers you might like and service was polite without being over the top false friendly. Worth a visit if craft your thing.
