Kavanagh's Irish Pub Grille - Malaga

I visited tonight and was disappointed by the service. There were only two servers working on a Friday night, and two parties that arrived after us were seated and greeted first. It reminded me why I had stopped coming here. However, I must say that the dry-rubbed wings are fantastic. We had just one drink and decided to leave. I think I'll head to Steakout for better service next time.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and found the restaurant to be quite unpretentious from the outside, but the interior had a cozy vibe. There were plenty of TV screens showing sports, which added to the atmosphere. On the day I visited, there was only one waitress who also handled the bar, and she was fantastic, although it was clear she was tired from running between tables. I did notice that the tables could have been cleaned better. However, the food was excellent! I had a burger with French fries that was fantastic—cooked perfectly and the fries were nice and crispy. I also tried the bourbon steak cheese filet, which was delicious as well. I would definitely come back!

I arrived at 7 PM and waited 20 minutes for a waitress. We finally got our first drinks at 7:30. The drinks were reasonably priced; I ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze that was well-made. It wasn't really the waitress's fault, as they were short-staffed. We started eating at 7:45. The boneless wings were enjoyable, and my wife ordered the BBQ burger with onion rings, which she said was very good. However, I ordered the fish and chips, and after just two bites, I found it to be terrible—more like eating cardboard. The fries were also not great. I would recommend sticking to the burgers and cheesesteaks.

It was great and really reasonable. I had the chicken Caesar salad and added shrimp to it. It was really tasty and already tossed in the dressing. For dessert I had the fried Oreo sundae. Great way to finish it off. Definitely will come back.
