Coto Makassar Widodaren - Malang

The food is super good, this place would be better with smoking and non-smoking area because what I found annoying was smokers who are smoking carelessly when other people was still eating.

The best place to eat coto makassar in malang! comes with small bowl, but more generous part of the meat. the broths were really delicious and authentic. best pair with buras. it cost only 20k-ish (not containing the rice or buras) they also served another makassar traditional eating. another must try the menu: it pisang ijo for only 10k with a huuuge portion for 3 people

I have been here regularly since 2015 and even until I write this review, I could say that the taste does not change at all. stable. Consistent. coto, palubasa, buras, es sirup, es pisang ijo, each menu here tasted exactly what I had eaten years ago while I am still in papua. fyi, I come from merauke n coto is a daily eating there because there are many immigrants from sulawesi. they can easily meet people with Makassar/Bugis, buton or toraja ethnicity. I even have makassar tante n they normally cook coto at the weekend while we visited their place. hers is definitely better than what I have eaten here at widodaren, but it's just personal opinion. as a closing statement when they visit malang or live here, n wanted to know how coto makassar tasted, they just come to widodaren. you will not regret it. prost.

You can't find this place without guidance from local people : , because this place really hiding from the main road. The dish is quite good and the beverages are from tradisional Makassar's unique ingredients. Recommended if you looking for original taste of Makassar's coto or sop. Nevertheless, the parking area is really limited. You can eat the main dish with kupat or lontong.

Feels like eating home, authentic traditional makassar. I love coto campur and it pisang ijo. it tastes so crazy awesome and tasty
