The Lind Boracay - Malay

We stayed at your hotel from July 17th to 19th, 2023. The overall experience was quite satisfactory until the very end when an incomprehensible incident occurred. On the morning of the 19th, I woke up at 8 o'clock and found myself suffering from continuous diarrhea and severe stomach cramps due to gastroenteritis. Consequently, I skipped breakfast and immediately took gastrointestinal medicine that I had brought with me. However, my condition didn't improve even until 11:30, and I had already taken three times the normal dosage of the medicine. At that point, I asked my wife to go to the lobby and speak with the front desk staff to inquire if we could pay an extra fee for a few more hours of rest to see if it could provide some relief. However, the front desk staff informed us that our room had already been booked and that we had to check out at 12 o'clock without offering any other compromises or suggestions. This left us with no choice but to find a way to leave by noon. I had to muster all my strength to prevent myself from having an embarrassing incident of diarrhea right there in the lobby. I fail to understand why a five-star hotel would handle such an unexpected situation with guests in this manner, and it has left me extremely disappointed!

Amazing experience! This is the only place we will stay at from now on when we come back to Boracay! We stayed in the beach view room and it’s truly beautiful to wake up to the crystal clear blue water. We loved breakfast and my 1 year old enjoyed eating there too.
