The lady who told us about the place had said that it was ‘the best pizza she’d had anywhere in the world’ Well I’ve eaten a lot of pizza around the world and I’d have to agree!! They give you your own menu listing all the ingredients and you tick what you want, there is no limit as to what you can put on your pizza (I opted for salami, ham, sausage, mushroom and onion) and it did not disappoint My wife had a beautiful tuna salad and we had a 1l carafe of red wine, a beer and a bottle of mineral water all for €51:00, we’d struggle to get this quality and amount of food at home in Scotland for the same amount. Service was great and unlike a lot of places we w we’re not pestered for more drinks etc, we were left to our food and wine with no fuss, that being said if we needed anything the staff were there and were very friendly. Can’t recommend highly enough Grazie Mille
Unique set up where you can choose your own pizza toppings. Pizza was large and delicious. We were a big group of 12 and the staff was very accommodating.
We ate at Da Gigi several times during our holiday as we have done on previous holidays. Food was excellent eaten on the terrace overlooking the lake. Mondo and the team provide a great service.
Great food on offer here, fantastic smells coming from the kitchen. Great choice, create your own pizza which is perfect and big enough portions. We shared a pizza and bug salad. Drinks lots to choose from
Pizzeria Ristorante da Gigi is located on the right hand side of the main road into Malcesine. Slightly raised from road level, the restaurant has an indoor area and a terrace that has fantastic views of Lake Garda. This is a busy place, popular with locals and tourists and also very popular with families. The main draw for us was the gluten pizzas which were really good. All pizzas come with a base of tomato and cheese and a check list of toppings is provided for you to tick off and personalise. They also had gluten free beer. Pasta dishes can also be gluten free, substituting the various pastas with a gf penne version. A busy but relaxed restaurant with really good pizza. The ordinary pizzas had one of the best bases I’ve had in a long time.
