Henri's Steakhouse - Maldon

My sister and I treated mama for mother's day and was over the moon with eating and service. the starters were fabulous and the carvery was excellent. large selection of meat and veg, which were cooked so well and pruned hot. our waitress was very polite and attentive. was our first experience, but definately wasn't our last. to soon again!

Very tasty steaks, pretty quiet and not too much atmosphere though. The building that surrounds it has always struggled for an identity. I'd recommend going there for the food if there's a group of you.. you can bring your own atmosphere then.

We might have arrived a bit early for lunch and drinks, as the first female staff member at the bar wasn’t sure when the dining room would open. However, after noon, a few more families arrived, and a more experienced staff member led us into the dining area and handed out menus. The burger and lasagna were both delicious and good value at £9. The only downside was that the portion of chips could have been a bit larger for that price.

Great service and delicious hot meals for our group of 14. This place stands out compared to others, and I would definitely recommend it!

The restaurant was well-furnished and clean, with a pleasant atmosphere, thanks to the bowling alley next to the bar. The service was friendly and quick. We ordered the Hunter's Huh and fish and chips, along with a side of garlic bread. The presentation was impressive, obviously cared for by someone attentive. The food was delicious and satisfying. We also enjoyed two pornstar martinis and a selection of wines, all for under £40. I would definitely return!
