I had the most pleasant experience at the spur. I ordered the eisbein and it was horrible, the taste was not great, the eisbein was way too dry and just horrible to eat. Being a manager at a restaurant myself i hate complaining at restaurants because i know how much work goes into it. Our waiter came around and i just told him he must just tell the chefs that they must not kill the eisbein, its already dead. The next moment the manager was at the table, i showed him the eisbein and he said he will talk to the chef, he came back and offered me something else from the menu and i said no purely because we had just driven 6 hours to be on holiday and we wanted to check in at out guest house so time was a problem. Next moment he brought me a sugar free cold drink because he asked the waiter and he knew we ordered sugar free cold drinks. He appologized multiple times and took the eisbein off our bill even though i told him not to, i didnt eat the eisbein but i ate the chips and onion rings which was very good. I think the way he handled the situation was just very professional despite the fact that this was his first month as a manager. The eisbein was dissapointing but the service, the manager and the atmosphere made up for it. Well done for your effort. You certainly earned your way to management. Keep up the good work.

Although the service was not bad, as it couldn't have been because the place was empty, the waiter was courteous but very unfriendly! The food was not bad, the portions were good, but stone cold.
