Joy's Place - Malta

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting.

I ordered the finger steaks, and they left a lot to be desired. The breading was bland and tasted overly oily. The mashed potatoes were barely mashed, and the country gravy had a strange cheesy dip flavor. Overall, it was decent but not great. My husband got the western burger, which was delicious based on the bite I managed to steal. The bacon was thick and incredibly tasty, the onion rings were good, and the fries were cooked perfectly. My suggestion would be to season the mashed potatoes with salt, pepper, plenty of butter, and some sour cream, and to actually mash them properly. Also, adding some spices to the steak breading would help reduce the floury taste. The service was amazing, and the staff were very friendly!

I thought I knew what true happiness was, but that was before I visited Joy's Place. It brought family relationships closer together as we enjoyed a wonderful meal that filled our hearts with joy.

This place was absolutely amazing! I'll definitely return whenever I have the opportunity! I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, and I could only eat half of it! I was a very happy camper the next day!

There were 8 of us tonight and what good food we had. Or waitress was so fun and right on the ball. We'll be back.
