Had long wait outside, but the food served was worth the wait.

If anyone remembers Cocina Esperanza in Ballard that burned down, this is the same owner! The food is always amazing and refreshingly authentic.

The enchiladas with rojo sauce was a super tasty option, very cheesy.

I have been meaning to try this place out for a while; unfortunately I don’t think I will return soon. Pros: chip basket came with two kinds of chip waiter didn’t ID me for drinks which makes me feel old (good thing) atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy tacos are portioned generously Cons: guacamole seemed to be made from a squeeze packet and some plastic bottle lime juice (do not order, it isn’t made fresh daily) chip basket came with two kinds of chip I got broccoli with my chicken enchiladas ? Why not grilled bell peppers and onion? the chicken enchiladas was actually chicken tacos with enchilada sauce house margarita lacked any kick and the pomegranate juice that the menu says it has Overall, I think the restaurant has potential and I am hopeful their other menu items are better.
