These business is one of the most crass ever examples of banking on a false image. I thoroughly enjoy the cookies but believe that they purposefully make them difficult to find in the store to force you to pay the outrageous price for having them shipped. I just started an order with one $5.50 box of cookies. The price for UPS Ground shipping was $17. I added another box to see if the shipping cost increased. It did not, but I saw a note stating that I had not reached the $30 threshold for shipping. In other words, charging more than three times the cost of a light box of cookies is not good enough for those cookie monsters. I largely suspect that buying the six boxes, which would exceed the $30 threshold, would bring the shipping cost higher than $17. Readily available in stores Tates cookies are a much better option. Even finding special treats on Amazon and having them shipped free with Prime is a better option.
I bought a molasses and ginger cookie from Haggens Grocery at Lakeland Hills in Auburn WA. I don’t see them on your list of retailers perhaps you should include them. I like the individual packages and will try the chocolate chip next. Very soft and full of flavor.
These are the greatest cookies ever. I emailed Cougar Mountain when the cookies didn't seem right from our local Whole Foods. They responded right away, explaining that they didn't make the cookies for Whole Foods anymore, but gave us locations where we could get the cookies, along with their web store. David was really helpful and now we have good cookies again. Thanks so much!
I buy all of your cookies from the vending machine at work Stockton, California
