La Trattoria Malton

I have eaten in la trattoria often. went recently with three friends. ate from the fixed price menu, the tasty, good value and makes it easier to share bill at the end! pasta or pizza are all good and there is a menu board for unusual dishes. for individual diners or those who prefer only a glass, the beverage menu offers wein through the glass, half bottle (karat) or the bottle as well as cocktails and the usual. They must book to ensure a table on busy days, e.g. Saturday. service was friendly and efficient.

Visited here on Friday as part of my birthday celebrations, love the food choices, the ambience and staff are always friendly. It’s my go to place locally for eating out with friends and family

I have enjoyed the Speck pizza here many times in the past, but this time it was very disappointing. There was hardly a trace of crispy pancetta and gorgonzola — which really boost the flavour — and the crust was rather sooty. My partner’s truffle fries, which are usually excellent, were undercooked and unappetising. My impression was that there had been staff changes, resulting in food and service not up to the usual standard.

This restaurant never fails on food service and ambience. They're very busy but always happy to meet your every need
