We came here recently for a meal to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and the service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, with attention paid to the smallest detail and so friendly. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and is probably the best meal I have ever had. I've run out of superlatives but my mum had a brilliant time and I couldn't recommend The Cotford highly enough. We will be back. Service: 5

Traditional guesthouse hotel in the good ways (lots of character, small, lovely garden, quiet) and not the bad ways (no avacado bathroom suites). Excellent Breakfast eggs always perfectly cooked. But if you're a person that enjoys staying in a Travellodge then it's probably not for you. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
