Luna Magica - Mamallapuram

The menu mainly consists of locally caught seafood, and we asked the server to recommend some options. We ended up ordering what was said to be Barracuda and tiger shrimp. The dishes were prepared to cater to the taste of my French companion, who found them to be a bit bland. The portions were generous and satisfying. It's important to negotiate prices beforehand, but the server was helpful in guiding us on this. Overall, it was a delightful experience to dine at this restaurant and watch the waves while enjoying a meal.

The food was very good and the prices were on the high side, but still slightly lower than the average overpriced seafood restaurant in Mahabalipuram. Portions much more generous than in other places. Beautiful location directly overlooking the beach. Definitely recommended if you are in...Mahabalipuram head right there for your meals and skip try other places that will usually be only tourist traps.

We just arrived there and didn't inform ourselves about the prices. Went to this restaurant. Paid 1200 RPS for one fried plane fish and one prawn and a hand of chips. Also the coke price was way to hight. I tried to talk to the...owner, but it was too late. Normal price for a fish is about 150 RPS. Avoid this place. There are much more kindly, cheaper and better restaurants.
