Coal Fired Pizza - Manalapan Township

Came in after class. Was served quickly and politely. I was blown away by my hand made margarita personal 10/ would do it again!

The food is average, nothing special. My Veal Meatballs were tough and dry.The service is atrocious. I have been to Coal only twice in the past year, and for good reason. Both times, it takes 20-25 minutes to get menus and drink orders. We had to stop someone walking by and ask for menus. One of our party never got their food. I don 't know if the problem is in front of house or back of house, but something is not working right. I recommend going some place else.

I asked for 2 slices. They Whipped up a pie in less than 4 minutes. Absolutely amazing pizza.

This place is Amazing !!! The pizza is phenomenal and crispy as well as having the perfect amount of ingredients to make it taste excellent. The server Anthony is a very nice kid who I recommend. He is very polite and willing to answer any questions without any impatience. The guys in the back work very hard and do their best to make a perfect pie and they definitely succeed at that. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: The server was very friendly with my 11 year old nephew and made him feel super comfortable.
