Delicious food and friendly staff but our order took over 35 minutes to get ready

From my modest experience , this is the best Iranian food restaurant in Bahrain Great sitting in the gulf hotel Just relax Delicious kebabs and rice .

As far as a Persian culinary experience goes, Takht Jamsheed is likely tops in Bahrain. Overall, the food is very good. However, once again, the service and ambiance is not what it was like pre COVID-19. This is almost true for all establishments across Bahrain. Parking at the Gulf Hotel can be hectic on the weekends. However, their is a large car park across the street if the hotel parking lots are full (or too tight to risk getting your doors dented). NSA Bahrain and prestige club membership discounts offered. AMEX and all other major credit cards are accepted.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the last 20 years as I considered it the best Iranian restaurant anywhere period. Last week was my first visit since the pandemic and I was disappointed. The staff has changed including the host Ibrahim who was a fixture in the place. The food quality has taken a nose dive. Now don’t get me wrong they still serve excellent food but the comparison to old times is glaring. This was a 7 star place and now a 4.

Delicious food. Will definitely come here again. A nice peaceful meal.
