Vegan Sting - Manchester

I'm in the usually not the biggest almost food fan, but that was honestly amazing! I have the salt pepper Chick’n box that came with curry sauce and Slav. the tussi was the most realistic vegan alternative I had. I am as happy place as this is now, everyone has to try this place!

I’ve had takeaway from here twice. I got the tandoori chik’n kebab both times, the buffalo loaded chips one time, and the tikka loaded chips the other time. Definitely fills that junk food craving perfectly. Absolutely love the texture and flavour of the tandoori chik’n meat. The tikka (lamb imitation meat is also very good. The Cajun seasoning on the buffalo fries is lovely. The only criticism I’d give this place is that neither of my kebabs came with all of the salad mentioned on the menu. There is a small side salad I didn’t notice until after eating the kebab the first time, which the second time I ordered I tried to add to the kebab because I assumed it’s meant for that. However, it’s really, really messy and difficult to add it. If the salad is supposed to be in the kebab, I’d much rather Vegan Sting added this themselves. If the salad is meant to be had on the side, I’m not sure why their menu mentions getting salad inside the kebab? Anyway, I’d personally enjoy the kebab even more if it was filled with a lot of salad to balance out the chips, bread and meat. Next time I think I’d probably get the kebab box to not have it feel so heavy with the bread. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-17
